Online Check-In is a convenient feature that allows you to save time when visiting hair salons. Instead of waiting in line, you can check estimated wait times for salons near you and get on the waitlist from anywhere.

• Get real-time updates on estimated wait times based on current conditions in the salon.
• Save time by checking in online before your visit, securing your place in line.
• Receive text alerts when your estimated wait time reaches 15 minutes, signaling it's time to head to the salon.
• Save your favorite hair salon for quick access during future check-ins.

How to Use Online Check-In:

1. Tap the Search icon to find a hair salon near you.
2. Select your preferred salon.
3. Tap the Check In button.
4. Enter your name and phone number.
5. Tap Check In again to join the waitlist. No login, email, or profile required.
6. Inform the salon staff when you arrive.

Note: Please arrive at the salon when it's nearly your turn to receive service based on the estimated wait time countdown.

Estimated Wait Time:

The estimated wait times assume that you will be assigned the next available stylist. While you can request a specific stylist upon arrival, please be aware that this may result in a longer wait. For safety and privacy reasons, stylist schedules are not published.

Availability of Online Check-In:

Online Check-In is available during the salon's operating hours, except for the first five minutes after it opens. During this time, customers already present in the salon have an opportunity to be checked in and added to the waitlist. Online check-in is accepted until 30 minutes before closing time. Although you can still receive a haircut at closing time, you will not be able to check in via the app.

Online Check-In for Other Services:

You can use Online Check-In for all services except perms and formal updos. Please keep in mind that not all salons offer perms, and appointments may be required for these specific services. It is recommended to contact the salon directly for more information.

Alternative to Mobile Devices:

If you do not have a mobile device, you can still check in using any device with internet access, such as a smartphone, iPad, or computer. Simply visit our website, greatclips.com, and click on "Find a Salon" or "Check In." Enter your postal code or address, and you'll be able to use Online Check-In without delay. Alternatively, if you are without an internet connection, you can walk in directly to any salon and provide your details to add your name to the waitlist.

Arrival Time at the Salon:

After checking in online, you will see your position on the waitlist. It is recommended to arrive at the salon before your turn comes up. If you prefer receiving a text message when your estimated wait time reaches 15 minutes, sign up for ReadyNext® text alerts. Upon arrival at the salon, inform the stylists that you're there, and they will confirm your information and complete your check-in process.

Late Arrival:

Don't worry if you encounter unexpected delays or challenges. We understand that life happens. In such cases, we will keep your name on the list for a short period of time.

Cancelling Your Check-In:

Once you have checked in, you can easily cancel by tapping the "Cancel check-in" option on the home screen.
